Terms of Service

TankDeep provides a platform for aquarium hobbyists including a species database, water parameter tracking, AI-powered diagnosis tools, calculators, and related features. We continuously improve and change the service. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion, though we will not remove core features from paid plans without notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may not share your account with others except via the Family Access feature available on Pro and Expert plans.

Do not use TankDeep for anything illegal. Do not upload content that is harmful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights. Do not try to break, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service. Do not scrape our database or resell our content. Do not attempt to bypass plan limits. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

TankDeep's AI features (AquaBot, disease scanner, tank scanner) are tools to help you make decisions, not a substitute for professional advice. AI can be wrong. For serious fish health issues, consult a qualified aquatic veterinarian. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI output, livestock losses, or any other negative outcomes from following AI suggestions.

You keep ownership of everything you upload and enter. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to display it to you (and to your family members if you use Family Access), to store it on our servers, and to send it to our AI provider for processing when you use AI features. If you publish content in the Scape Gallery, you additionally grant us a non-exclusive license to display it publicly on TankDeep as long as you keep it published.

Pro and Expert plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance via Stripe. Plans auto-renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account settings or by clicking "manage billing" — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months, but see our refund policy for our 7-day guarantee.

If you downgrade, your existing data is retained but some features may become locked. You can re-upgrade any time to restore full access.

Free, Pro, and Expert plans include specific limits (tanks, AquaBot messages, AI scans, etc) that we may adjust as the platform evolves. If we reduce a limit on an existing plan you will be notified 30 days in advance and given the option to cancel for a pro-rated refund.

You can delete your account any time from settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. In serious cases (spam, abuse, fraud) termination may be immediate and permanent.

TankDeep is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that the service will meet your needs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Dubai, UAE, unless local consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
