Banggai cardinalfish

Stunning black and silver patterned fish with long elegant fins. Mouth brooding species making it relatively achievable to breed in captivity. Slow moving and peaceful. Completely reef safe. One of the best beginner marine fish.

Marine pellets, frozen mysis and brine shrimp. Feeds slowly so ensure it competes successfully at feeding time.

One of the few marine fish bred regularly in captivity. Male mouth broods eggs for 3 to 4 weeks. Juveniles are released fully formed.
