More striking than the neon tetra with red colouring extending the full body length. Needs soft acidic water to truly thrive long term. Worth the extra care required.

Micro pellets, frozen daphnia, micro worms. Small stomach, feed twice daily in tiny amounts only.

Very difficult in captivity. Requires extremely soft and acidic water. Most available fish are wild caught from the Amazon.
