Cockatoo dwarf cichlid

Spectacular cockatoo dwarf cichlid. Males have dramatically exaggerated dorsal fins. Cave spawners that make fascinating and attentive parents. Peaceful with non cichlid tank mates.

Small pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp, live food when available. High protein diet preferred for best colour.

Cave spawner. Provide clay caves or halved coconut shells. Female guards eggs very aggressively and is a devoted parent.
