Flame angelfish

Vivid scarlet orange with vertical black stripes and a blue purple tail. May nip at LPS coral polyps. Keep only one per tank. Needs ample swimming space and rock caves for security.

Marine pellets, frozen mysis, algae based foods, spirulina sheets. Feed twice daily for best colour and health.

Sequential hermaphrodites. Very difficult to breed in home aquariums. Rarely attempted successfully.
