Neon tetra

Keep in groups of 10 plus for best colour and natural behaviour. Iconic blue and red stripe. Very sensitive to ammonia so never add to an uncycled or newly cycled tank.

Micro pellets, crushed flakes, frozen daphnia. Small stomach so feed twice daily in tiny amounts only.

Egg scatterers. Need soft acidic water. Remove parents after spawning to prevent them eating the eggs.
