Males have the iconic dramatically elongated lower tail fin that gives this species its name. Hardy livebearer available in many colour varieties. Active, entertaining and very easy to breed.

Flakes, pellets, some vegetable matter for balanced diet. Feed twice daily. Not fussy about food at all.

Livebearers. Females give birth to 20 to 100 fry every 4 to 6 weeks. Provide cover for fry to survive.
