The toughest beginner fish available. Tolerates a remarkably wide temperature range. Fast and very active. Keep 6 plus. Can stress slow fish like bettas.

Flakes, micro pellets, frozen daphnia. Fast eaters so ensure all tank mates get their share of food too.

Egg scatterers. Will eat eggs. Use a mesh bottom breeding tank or dense java moss to protect eggs from parents.
